What I’ve Been Up To…

Hey everyone, how’s everything in Internet World and Real-Life World? No doubt some of you have wondered where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing the past few months ago. Here’s a collection of things that I’ve been either doing or plan on doing:

School

This one’s the most obvious thing keeping me from updating this blog regularly. I go to class, come back, and by the time I even have time to do anything else, I’ve already lost the interest. What follows is just mindless brain-rotting.

Anime

amamiya yuuko

I’ve been watching a mix of new and old series (as usual). Some notable old ones include: ef – A Tale of Memories, Bamboo Blade, and Seto no Hanayome. There weren’t too many new series that I wanted to watch. I’m currently following: K-On!, Valkyria Chronicles, Eden of the East, and Hayate no Gotoku Season 2. Are there any good series (new or old) that you’d like to recommend? Here’s what I’ve seen so far.

Manga

negima

I don’t read manga as often as I watch anime. It’s probably because I’m too lazy to find good ones. I’m currently following: Naruto, Mahou Sensei Negima, D.C. II i.f., and Hayate no Gotoku. Speaking of Hayate, I just bought the newest volume and am currently reading through that. Still waiting on the next volume of D.C. II i.f. though.

Music

re-mikus

You know, it’s probably been a year or so since I’ve stopped listening to American music. Okay, I still listen occasionally, but for the most part I’ve been listening to Asian music. I had this phase years ago in high school… ><; The most recent things on my playlist are: Honjitsu Mankai Watashi iro, the Gundam 00 soundtracks, and various Vocaloid albums.

Technology

myipod

Let’s see, where to begin. I installed Windows 7 RC and it’s been a great experience. I jailbroke my iPod Touch a few months ago and I’ve been experimenting with it ever since. I think the best part about a jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch is that you can have access to a terminal. It’s like a secondary Linux device to me now! Right now I’m trying to write an application for it without using a Mac, and that’s been quite a hassle. I couldn’t get a proper toolchain working in Ubuntu, but I’ve managed to get one running on the iPod Touch itself. So now I can compile directly from the iPod, but it seems like almost everything I compile, including Apple’s example programs, don’t run properly. I must be missing something. Anyone have any ideas?

Miscellaneous

I’m currently thinking of a couple of fun little stories to write. ;D

Welcome back a couple days late. Honestly I read this yesterday but for some reason I didn’t reply, so here we go. I’ve been reading manga a bit again lately, it’s been a while since I actually did that. Been catching up on old shows and following a few newer ones too. I sent you a FR on MAL btw ^^ I’ve been trying to keep my blog going but the last week has been pretty eventful(or less). I really don’t know anything about ipods so I can’t help you there :x Musicwise, I basically listen to Japanese music but there’s a little German/USA/European etc that I still listen to, all depends on the mood.

Welcome back! (better late than never)…
We seem to have a lot in common. I listen to way more J-pop than american music anymore, but will listen to random american music if the mood is right, and german, etc, you get the idea. Miku is definitely one of my top favorite vocaloids. I think that “K-On!” and “Saki” and “Eden Of The East” were my 3 favorite anime this season. Old anime that I ended up liking that I didn’t think I would, “Ikkitousen”, It ended up having a really neat storyline. I’m not really familiar with iPods, so I can’t help you there, sorry. I do love playing Ero-games, and reading Doujin, I guess I am weird. I really don’t blog as much as I should be, but I want to get into more regular posting, so keep an eye out for it on our blog. I am Persocom’s wife, if you don’t know already.
